Chapter One
She was naked. She was blonde. She was dead.
The pictures from the drone showed a once beautiful woman, blonde yes, but not
all over. She was tied to a cartwheel and the crows had pecked out her eyes and scavenged
her fractured, flagellated body. The crows looked down upon the disturbed scene like
agents of death, mocking with their "caw" calls, angrily denied further pickings. They seem
bemused by the commotion and flashing lights, observing every detail of the police
operation. They had seen the murderer . . .
